Jagex is making some big improvements to the Wilderness in Old School RuneScape, and today's update is the "first of many upcoming changes" we can expect to see over the next few months. Once the maintenance period ends, you'll find several small adjustments to the deadly PvP caves, along with numerous changes to Deadman Worlds.
While exciting features such as Loot Keys and Wilderness Bosses have been pushed to 2022, OSRS is finally getting some long-overdue Wilderness changes. They're nothing too spectacular, but this is the first update to the Revenant Caves in recent memory and marks the start of Jagex's journey to rework the Wildy.

Here's a look at the latest OSRS GP patch notes:
The number of Revenant cave teleport scrolls dropped has been increased from 1 to between 1-10.
Revenant loot tables now have an extra chance to drop Blighted items in addition to their normal loot.
Multiple item drops will now appear in greater quantities.
Revenants have also seen a few healing tweaks:
They now have a cooldown that begins once they have healed, preventing them from healing again for 15 cycles (9 seconds).
They are now guaranteed a heal whenever they attack while they're below half HP, so long as their heal is ready and not on cooldown.
They can only heal themselves a total of 8-36 times before being unable to heal again.
The number of Revenants has doubled throughout the caves and they respawn 33% faster.

If you happen to be playing in a Deadman World, there are even more changes to watch out for. The full list of updates is lengthy, but here are the big ones:
Deadman players can access the Blast Furnace for an hourly fee.
Pest Control is accessible when starting with a minimum of five players.
Players can pack certain items (including Multicannons) into sets via the Grand Exchange clerks.
Players who die in PvP may now lose 10% XP in their unprotected skills. PvM deaths for unskilled players are not affected.
Deadman players can no longer flee into the Gauntlet in the middle of combat.
Jagex said plenty more Wilderness and PvP updates are planned for the future. If you're curious to learn more about the latest patch, check out the official OSRS website.
