RuneScape was only released on Steam last year but the OSRS Gold itself is already in its 20th year. As the celebration year is about to end, everyone has the chance to earn themselves a Golden Party Hat. The hunt begins on November 22 and ends on January 3.
Veteran players know that Party Hats are some of the game’s most sought-after items. That’s because they have high value and are tradeable. They have only been made available six times throughout the entire history of the game.
To earn this item, players need to finish various tasks to get shards. There are 11 possible shards and players only eight for the Golden Party Hat. Here’s where players can find the shards:
Talk to the Wise Old Man who is waiting for players outside the Grand Exchange in Varrock.
Every time players earn a Mark of War, there is a chance to earn a shard.
Shards are also a possible drop after completing Clue Scrolls.
One shard can be had when training Gathering skills (Mining, Fishing, Woodcutting, Farming, Hunter, Divination, Archaeology).
One shard can be had when training Combat skills (Attack, Strength, Defence, Ranged, Prayer, Magic, Constitution, Summoning).
One shard can be had when training Support skills (Agility, Thieving, Slayer, Dungeoneering).
One shard can be had when training Artisan skills (Herblore, Crafting, Fletching, Smithing, Cooking, Firemaking, Runecrafting, Construction).
The Croesus Front Now Live in RuneScape
One shard can be obtained at Level 15 of the free track in the Christmas Yak Track event.
One shard can be purchased with 30 million in-game gold.
One shard is given with Premier Club 2022 membership purchase.
There’s another way to enjoy the game’s anniversary
with Cheap RS 2007 Gold: The First 20 Years. It comes with illustrations, concept art, and stories from the game’s development. There’s even an in-depth celebration of the world of Gielinor.
